The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party
Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in influence within the city.
Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.
The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced
Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of characters who will split off from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.
The Soldiers table features Teor (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).
Dividing the Cast
Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might seem out of place, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.
The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
- Kattigan knows the region and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the party reach areas they usually can’t.
- Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- Tyranny and The healer betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
- Teor is marked for death by the family.
This results in them few options but to journey toward the remote area in search of the antagonist.
What’s Next?
From episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Schemers parties.
